Safe Journey

Emergency, Prevention, and Rapid Re-housing

The Safe Journey program, which includes emergency, prevention, and rapid re-housing, serves women and their minor children fleeing a domestic violence situation. This rapid-rehousing program offers financial assistance so that participants can access permanent housing. Safe Journey includes funds for homeless prevention, meaning domestic violence survivors, and their children are eligible for financial assistance to retain their current rental housing.
